Dan ini yang di tunggu tunggu. Setelah sempat bermasalah dengan pihak Microsoft akibat dari "copyright", MekTek akhirnya resmi merilis projek gamenya yang bernama Mech Warrior 4 Free.
Dari kalimat diatas yang paling menarik perhatian saya adalah "free". Benar saja, game ini tersedia secara cuma cuma dan bisa di download di situs MekTek dengan ukuran file sebesar 1.7GB.
Pada Mech Warrior 4 ini menampilkan perubahan dalam gameplay Mech Warrior 4. Misalnya, 105 jenis Mecha yang beraneka ragam, 9 Battle Armor yang baru, 6 jenis Infantry baru, 119 Persenjataan baru.
Terdapat pula berbagai macam fitur dedicated server, load game yang singkat, Original Mech, Misi baru, dan lain lain.

The Legend Of Toba Lake

Once upon a time, there was a fisherman lived in a North Sumatra. Don’t ask me the year, all I know it was a very long time before you were born. When he was fishing in a river, a big fish was nailed. This fish had gold color all over its body. It was beautiful. The fisherman was very excited. He imagined a delicious dinner in his head. He put the fish in his basket and went home happily.
When he got home, he put the fish in a sink. He grabbed a knife to kill the fish. But when he almost killed it, he saw the fish eyes and felt pity. He took the knife away and put the fish in washbasin and added water in it. “Don’t worry, I wouldn’t kill you” the fisherman said.
The fisherman went fishing again. But this time he couldn’t get any fish. He went home with nothing in his hand. His stomach started to sing. He walked home slouching. He was surprised when he saw smoke came out from his kitchen.
“Who cooked in my kitchen?” he confused.
He took a peep and surprised when he saw a beautiful girl cooked in his house. “Why there’s a girl in my kitchen?” he confused.
The fisherman entered the room. “Who are you?” he asked the girl.
“I’m the fish.” The girl said.
The fisherman looked the washbasin and saw nothing in it. “The fish?” he asked incredulous.
“Yes. You didn’t kill me and I’m very thankful. I will return your kindness.” The girl said.
“That’s ok. I didn’t ask any return” the fisherman said.
“But I have to.”The girl insisted.
“Well, I lived alone. I don’t have family. If you want to be my wife, I will be very happy.” The fisherman asked the girl.
The girl smiled and said “I’d love to but you have to promise me that if we have kid you can’t tell him about me.”
And so, the fisherman and the fish girl were married. And then they had a child called Samo. Samo was very naughty. He couldn’t be advisable. He always played and never helped his parents.
One day Samo was asked to deliver lunch to his father. On his way, he met his friends and forgot to deliver his father’s lunch. Samo played with his friends. When he was tired and hungry, he was resting under a tree and ate his father lunch. Meanwhile his father waited him in starve and tired. His father went home and saw Samo played. “Where is my lunch?” he asked.
“Mmm…mm.. I ate it” Samo said afraid.
“Why you ate it?” his father asked.
“Mmm..mm.. I was hungry after playing with my friend” Samo said.
“You were told to deliver my lunch but you didn’t listen.” his father was very furious. “I can’t handle you anymore. You are very naughty. Go away from me. Don’t come home anymore.” His father yelled and evicted Samo from his house.
And this what happened if you can’t control your mouth when you angry. His father said the words that he wouldn’t suppose to say. “You… fish’s son.”
Suddenly, the sky was getting dark. The storm was breaking the ears. The rain felt from the sky like giant hose sprayed water all over the place. And then the water came out from the land and getting harder.
Sumo’s mother was very sad. “I told you don’t tell him about me” she said to her husband. “Now I’m going back to be fish again. Good by” the mother was transformed magically to be gold fish again and disappear through the water. The water was getting higher and drown the village and formed a lake.
Meanwhile, sumo run to the hill and stayed there. The hill then was surrounded by the lake.
Now the lake was known as Toba Lake. Toba came from Tuba word means no mercy. And the hill in the middle called Samosir Island. Samosir means ‘Samo di usir’ or in English : Samo have been evicted.
This is just a legend, there were so many versions of the name’s story. You can’t tell which one is really true. But I heard this version since I was a little girl.

The Legend Of Sangkuriang

From passion, desire, love, and angry of Sangkuriang, The Eruption of Mountain Tangkuban Parahu, until now become a city...
Here is the short story...
There is a kingdom in Priangan Land. Live a happy family, a father in form of dog (his name is Tumang), a mother (her name is Dayang Sumbi), and a child call Sangkuriang. Tumang is demigod possessing magic powers.
One day, Dayang Sumbi asked her son to go hunting in the nearest jungle and she wanted some deer liver or venison. So Sangkuriang went hunting with his lovely dog, Tumang, to please his mother. After hunting all day with empty-handed, Sangkuriang began desperate and worried. Think shortly, Sangkuriang took his arrow and shot his dog. Then he took the dog liver or flesh and carried home.
He gave dog liver or flesh to his mother. Soon Dayang Sumbi fine out that Sangkuriang lied to her. She knew Sangkuriang had killed Tumang. So, She angry and hit Sangkuriang head. Sangkuriang got wounded and scar. Sangkuriang cast away from their home.
Years go bye, Sangkuriang had travel many places and on one day, he arrived at a village which is used to be his home. He met a beautiful woman whom actually his mother and felt in love with her.
Their love grew naturally and one day, when they were discussing their wedding plans, Dayang Sumbi suddenly realised that the profile of Sangkuriang's head matched that of her only son's who had left twenty years earlier. How could she marry her own son? But she did not wish to dissapointed him by canceling the wedding. So, although she agreed to marry Sangkuriang, she would do so only on the condition that he provide her with a lake and a boat with which they could sail on the dawn of their wedding day.

Sangkuriang accepted this condition and built a lake by damming the Citarum river. With a dawn just moment away and the boat almost complete, Dayang Sumbi realised that Sangkuriang would fulfill the condition she had set. With a wave of her supernatural shawl, she lit up the eastern horizon with flashes of light. Deceived by false dawn, the cock crowed and farmers rose for the new day.

With his work not yet complete, SangkuriaNg realised that his endeavor were lost. With all his anger, he kicked the boat that he himself had built. The boat fell over and, in so doing become the mountain TANGKUBAN PARAHU (in Sundanese, TANGKUBAN means upturned or upside down, and PARAHU means boat). With the dam torn asunder, the water drained from the lake becoming a wide plain and nowadays became a city called BANDUNG (from the word BENDUNG, which means Dam).

Nah, buat teman teman gamer yang pengen main game tapi terhalang fasilitas atau komputer yang kurang mendukung. Ini aku ada info mengenai game yang ringan, sederhana, tapi tetep menghibur.

Pertama, The Palace Builder.
Casual game yang mempunyai genre "building simulation" yang menggunakan seting abad pertengahan. The Palace Building menampilkan gameplay dimana kita dapat mengatur dan membangun bangunan untuk kerajaan Prancis. Tujuan dari game ini yaitu untuk membangun kerajaan yang mempunyai arsitek bangunan termegah. Kekurangan pada game ini mungkin dari segi visual grafik 2D, tetapi masih menampilkan detail visual dan animasi yang menarik. Palace Builder sedikit sedikit dapat dikatakan mirip dengan "Build-a-lot", sebagai suatu game "town builder". Tetapi The palace Builder mempunyai fitur fitur yang unik. Dalam game ini kita dapat mendirikan bangunan dimana saja tanpa harus dibatasi tempat, pastinya yang sesuai dengan desain kita. Untuk dapat membangun sebuah bangunan membutuhkan pekerja dan bahan material. Bahan material dan pekerja masing masing dikategorikan dalam 4 kategori tergantung dari besar kecilnya bangunan yang ingin dibuat. Semua itu dapat diperoleh dengan cara membelinya dari penghasilan uang yang dimiliki. Dalam setiap level kita diberikan berbagai macam misi yang harus diselesaikan dalam waktu yang telah ditentukan, agar mendapatkan rating tertinggi. Selain desain bangunan, juga harus memperhatikan nilai "appeal" bangunan. Semakin tinggi nilainya maka semakin singkat proses mendirikan bangunan dan nilai akhir yang tinggi pula. Nah, gimana? tertarik untuk memainkan game ini? game ini dibuat oleh Bigfish Games dan dipublikasikan oleh Bigfish juga. hehe. The Palace Builder telah dirilis bulan maret 2010. Kedua, Incredible Express
Incredible Express dibuat oleh Bigfish game dan dipublikasikan oleh Bigfis lagi. Game ini bertipe "time management".Incredible Express memperlihatkan bahwa game ini selain menarik juga sangat aditif untuk dimainkan. Dalam game ini, kita diberikan sebuah perusahaan kereta api yang bertugas mengangkut berbagai macam barang di tiap levelnya. Dimana tiap level itu dalam bentuk sebuah kota. Sistem game play Incredible Express dibuat sederhana tetapi tetap menarik. Kita hanya tinggal membuat jalur kereta api dan mengontrolnya agar kereta tersebut dapat sampai ketujuan dengan waktu yang telah ditentukan. Incredible Express menggabungkan grafik 3D dengan grafik 2D. Secara keseluruhan game ini sangat menarik, sederhana, dan asik untuk dimainkan.


Ketiga, The Soul Of Dracula
Dari titlenya aja uda keren gimana gamenya. Hehe. The Soul Of Dracula adalah game yang bertipe "Action, Platformer" yang menggunakan grafik 2D. Game ini mirip dengan game Castlevania mulai dari karakter boss sampai gameplaynya. Dalam game ini kita berperan sebagai seorang "vampire hunter" yang berpetualang memasuki kastil milik "Dark Princes". Dalam castil itu kita akan bertemu dengan zombie, medusa, skeleton, dan kawan kawan. Senjata utama dari game ini adalah "whip" serta senjata lainya yaitu "holy water" sampai "axe". Kesimpulanya adalah game The soul of dracula dibuat dengan inspirasi dari game castlevania. Tetapi memiliki fitur fitur tersendiri dan unik tentunya. The Soul Of Dracula telah dirilis pada bulan maret lalu dan dapat di download secara gratis.
